ROBERTS BACK ON LOAN
Crewe Alexandra forward
Fin Roberts has returned for a second loan at Chester.
The 19-year-old is on a season loan loan at Deva
Stadium though the deal includes a ten-day period
in January in which Roberts’ parent club have
the option to recall him to their squad.

BLUES DRAW AT GLENTORAN
Offrande Zanzala was
on the scoresheet as Chester drew their latest pre-season
friendly 1-1 against NIFL Premiership side Glentoran
at the Oval on Saturday. Zanzala
met a Nathan Woodthorpe cross in the 17th minute
to give the Blues an early lead. The home side struck
back through Joseph Thompson five minutes after
the break in what proved to be an entertaining match.

BROWN OUT ON LOAN Goalkeeper
Alex Brown has joined NWCFL Premier Division side
Prestwich Heys on a one month loan. The 19-year-old
made his Chester debut with an impressive performance
in the win at King’s Lynn Town at the end
of last season.

OSKAR ON TARGET
There was a second pre-season
goal for Oskar Rosenblatt as a Chester team, containing
many trialists, won at Colwyn Bay last night. The
Blues now embark on a mini training break in Northern
Ireland when they will play a match at Glentoran
on Saturday.

HOME DEFEAT BY SALFORD
Chester’s home friendly
campaign continued on Saturday and saw League Two
side Salford City leave with a 2-0 victory at Deva
Stadium in front of a crowd of 965.

VICTORY AT RUNCORN
Goals either side of the
break from Oskar Rosenblatt and Connor Woods gave
Chester a 2-1 victory on their second pre-season
friendly away at Runcorn Linnets on Tuesday night.

PRE-SEASON UNDERWAY
Chester began their pre-season
with a 3-1 defeat at Bury. The first meeting for
16 years between the two sides was played at a very
hot Gigg Lane with Djavan Pedro opening the scoring
for the hosts on 13 minutes. Dylan Mottley-Henry
drew Chester level two minutes into the second half
before Pedro added a second for the Shakers four
minutes later. A goal on 76 minutes from a trialist
wrapped up the victory for the hosts.

FIXTURES RELEASED
The National League North fixtures for 2025/26 have
been released and Chester will kick-off the new
campaign with a home match against Peterborough
Sports on Saturday 9 August. The last time we started
at home was back in 2018. The opening match is followed
seven days later with a trip to Chorley. The regular
season concludes on 25 April 2026 with a home match
against King’s Lynn Town.
