65	2 March	Gillingham (H)	80	Greenough’s power driver strikes Trevor Quow’s hand. Phil Kite is beaten by the spot kick.
66	2 March	Gillingham (H)	86	A superb pass by Kevin Langley, a one on one with Kite and a confident finish.
67	2 March	Gillingham (H)	89	Croft’s dazzling run and shot from the left could only be parried by Kite and Stuart’s outstretched leg prodded the ball home. A hat-trick in the last ten minutes, his third in the League for City and his last goal in his first spell for us.

71	18 October	Stockport County (A)	87	Stuart cleverly turns Bill Williams before sliding an inch perfect shot past the advancing Edwards.
72	2 November	Preston North End (H)	38	Barrow slid the ball into space for Stuart to dart away, wrong foot a defender then send Alan Kelly the wrong way. Class finishing.
73	2 November	Preston North End (H)	65	Morton and Rimmer played a one-two-three-four that sent Stuart racing clear to dispatch the shot past Kelly for a wonderful goal.
74	23 November	Reading (H)	6	Stuart forces home the opening goal at the Town End, stretching to beat keeper Steve Francis following a long throw from the left.

78	29 February	Darlington (A)	85	A leap year gem! Lightfoot’s slide rule pass put Rimmer away and his whiplash shot hit the roof of the net.
79	14 March	Preston North End (A)	7	They get better! collecting the ball on the half way line, Stuart dazzles three defenders on a trip across field before shooting over Farnworth into the roof of the net.
80	20 April	Torquay United (H)	42	Stuart’s last goal at Macclesfield. A far post header after Abel had back headed Pugh's long throw.

82	29 August	Preston North End (A)	41	Amidst the thunder and rain Dave Thompson's header finds Stuart unmarked in the box to prod past Farnworth.
83	12 September	Orient (A)	80	Brilliant work from Morton releases Rimmer on the right to finish clinically from 15 yards and equal the record.
84	15 September	Mansfield Town (H)	2	Just 75 seconds to be precise! Stuart’s first goal at Deva Stadium. A flick header past Jason Pearcey from Thompson’s free kick. The record breaker!
