25	12 October	Preston North End (A)	45	Stuart darts past two defenders almost from the restart and slips a shot past John Platt, a first half hat trick.
26	12 October	Preston North End (A)	86	Greenough is impeded by Bob Atkins. A twice taken penalty for City’s sixth goal. Who will ever forget Stuart's 21st birthday?
27	2 November	Aldershot (H)	49	Keeper Coles saves, Bennett goes for the rebound and is pushed by Mark Morris. A Sealand Road penalty.
28	6 November	Colchester United (H)	55	John Kelly runs wide, jinks inside the area, and with the keeper committed crosses for a diving header.
29	6 November	Colchester United (H)	70	Stuart Houston turns to back pass to his keeper but Stuart slides it into the net.
30	23 November	Orient (H)	61	Graham Abel splits the defence with the lob, the ball bounces for Stuart who shoots past keeper Peter Wells only to be felled accidentally in the process. Serious knee ligament injury.

36	21 March	Newport County (H)	78	Brian Croft took Barrow’s lobbed pass, committed Gary Plumley in goal and slipped the ball across for Rimmer to put into an empty net.
37	1 April	Swindon Town (H)	57	Peter Houghton forced the ball to Stuart who turned well and drove in a fierce left foot shot that Fraser Digby could only palm into the net.
38	18 April	Notts County (A)	65	Quick thinking by Croft sent Rimmer away on the sort of run that he relishes and the striker turned superbly under pressure and firec home.

40	25 April	Chesterfield (A)	12	Butcher’s massive clearance is turned on to Rimmer to crash a first timer past Jim Brown.
