Saughall Colts made the short
journey to Chester City but returned empty handed
as City proved just too strong. Bill Whippe led the
way with four goals followed by Jamie Welch (1),
Phil Whittaker (1), and Billy Rogan (1). For the
visitors Lee Barnard and a very deserved Man-of-the-Match
for the Colts keeper Liam Green.

away with a hat-trick from Bill Whippe.
Chester City Blues had a wasted Sunday as Helsby failed to show up.

a great performance away at Saughall Colts with three
goal Mathew Cole doing the damage for the City in
the 3-1 victory Danny Graham for the colts and Sam
Tushingham Man-of-the-Match.

In the under 16s league Chester
City juniors edged the inter club game against Chester
City Blues 3-0 which keeps them on course to retain
last years championship success.

Chester City continue to set
the pace at the top with straight wins this one at
home against Upton 9-0. Bill Whippe, Man-of-the-Match
with four goals led the way, followed by Billy Rogan
(2), Chris Donaldson (1), John Sharman (1) and Phil
Wittaker.

In a very good game at the
Dale Camp Chester City blues edged the game 4-2 with
Dave Hogan (2) and Mathew Cole (2) for the visitors
and Aiden Miller and Nicholas Keegan for the home
side Man-of-the-Match for Upton was Jamie Gill.

Carrs team disposed of Chester Nomads 4-0 with two-goal
Kyle Jones, Chris Donaldson and Sean Shannon doing
the damage.

Bill Whippe was the man again
as the oldest Blues beat St Werburgh’s away
5-2, he grabbed 4 with Gary Johnson (1) also on the
score sheet.

The under 16s had no trouble
in despatching Helsby winning 9-0 with goals from
Gary Johnson (3) Bill Whippe (3) Thomas Hancock (2)
and Shaun Shannon (1).
Three of the junior teams players
were called up to Iain Jenkins youth team last
week and faced Darlington College in the F.A Youth
Cup at the Deva Stadium Alex Owen (under 14), keeper
Rhys Robbins (under 16s) and Kyle Jones under 16s
well done to them.
