Profile:

Solid defender who signed on loan from Oxford United in January 2002. Given a two year deal by City in the summer of 2002 following that successful loan period. Was brought to Chester by then manager Mark Wright, Phil previously played under Wright at both Southport and Oxford United. He was released by City in January 2006 and teamed up again with Wright for the fourth time at Peterborough United. Returned to Chester in June 2006 with a new two year deal.
