Prolific goalscorer for both Vauxhall Motors and Northwich Victoria Gregg was transferred to Doncaster Rovers for £25,000 in March 2003. He spend two seasons at Belle Vue before becoming Chester’s record transfer when he joined the Blues for £100,000 in the summer of 2005. Missed the start of the season through injury and made his debut at Wolves in the Carling Cup as a substitute. He scored twice on his full debut at home against Darlington.
